Job Description

Counselor, 

     Full-time & Part-time

Candidates for the position must hold a current Iowa license as an LMHC, LMFT, or LISW. Good candidates for our practice can independently manage primary counseling responsibilities (completing sessions, documentation, and communication with clients and other professionals).  Must be proactive in communication about problems or concerns and have a willingness to engage all other team members in a supportive way.  

 

Clinical focus on couples and family counseling, children and adolescence, and work-related issues is priority. Common support needed in this setting include: anxiety, depression, couples, work stress, trauma, career development, parenting strategies, stressors in the college population, grief, and phase of life transitions.
